Social welfare is a social institution to provide support, usually financial, in the time of need. These needs are basic needs that everyone should have access to such as food, shelter, and medication. As a faith-based organization, we are committed to helping support our community in these areas. The REACH Center is assisting with the social welfare issues within the community through the various programs: Food Security, Homelessness Prevention (rent and utility assistance, hotel for fire victims), Prescription Medication and Clothing Assistance, Personal Care (shower and washer/dryer availability, hygiene kits).
